I had an early dinner with my parents and we all thought our meal was phenomenal!! The atmosphere and service was top notch. We will definitely be frequent diners.
Excellent all around! The chicken parm was the best I ever had. The chicken Marsella was also a big hit. The cheesecake and the chocolate fudge cake were spectacular. Very good service as well.

The service was exceptional -- especially from bartender Billy. Billy was phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, handsome, and clearly passionate about his craft, he made us feel like VIPs from the start. His pomegranate martini was a total showstopper -- beautifully balanced, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. One of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. We started with the caprese salad, and it was absolute perfection. The tomatoes were ripe and bursting with flavor, the mozzarella was luxuriously soft, and the basil was fresh and aromatic. Some balsamic glaze would have tied everything together and made it even more delicious. Then came the salmon saffron. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, with a silky saffron sauce that was rich, aromatic, and completely addictive. Every bite was a masterclass in balance and elegance. Portofino Trattoria is a must try spot -- between the exceptional food, the elegant yet comfortable vibe, and the top-tier service, it's a true gem. I can't wait to return and try more from their menu.
We went there last night for a friend's birthday. The calamari was probably the best I've had in years in Kane county. The Ceaser salad (homemade dressing) was outstanding. The service, atmosphere, and adult meals were incredible. The 4 star (food) is because the kids meals (maccheese and butter noodles) were of poor quality and not the same standard as the rest of the menu. I will return with my wife for sure, just not the kids.
What a gem! The food is absolutely delicious! Very reasonable pricing for portions and quality. The service gets top marks, too! Very comfortable seating, wonderful atmosphere. I have eaten here twice now. This place is moving up on my list of favorites. Their menu has so many choices. Cannot wait to try more dishes and bring my friends. They have a nice bar, too. Maybe stop by for just appetizers and cocktails. It's really great!
Excellent Italian restaurant in Campton Hills. Nice warm interior with good-sized bar. Big menu and large portions. Chicken parm is always a good choice, enough for two people. The quality of the food is great and so is the service.
